The state licensing examination for registered nurses is the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN)
PASS RATE FOR NCLEX-RN for first time candidates:
Class of 2008: 81% this percentage is based on 26 graduates taking the exam
Class of 2009: 97% this percentage is based on 32 graduates taking the exam
Class of 2010: 93% this percentage is based on 27 graduates taking the exam
Class of 2011: 93% this percentage is based on 27 graduates taking the exam
RETENTION RATE:
Combined rate for both 2 year generic track and LPN-RN track
Class of 2009: 64%
Class of 2010: 59%
Class of 2011: 63%
EMPLOYMENT:
Class of 2009 - The percentage of graduates working as registered nurse applicants or as registered nurses within six months of graduation is 94%.
Class of 2010 - The percentage of graduates working as registered nurse applicants or as registered nurses within six months of graduation is 93%.
Class of 2011 - The percentage of graduates working as registered nurse applicants or as registered nurses within six months of graduation is 88%.
