DRMC is dedicated to bringing the best in healthcare close to home by training primary care physicians. The residency and internship programs include a variety of progressive family and specialty centered patient care experiences. Residents provide care to newborns, infants, children, adults, and elders in clinic and inpatient settings.
The DRMC-Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine Residency faculty members are “hands-on”, experienced, clinically active, osteopathic and allopathic physicians who are committed to providing the best possible learning experience for residents. The faculty strives to provide a patient-centric, evidence-based medicine educational experience. Residents are given primary patient care responsibility with a faculty readily available to teach and to mentor.
