DRMC Physician Elected as Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians

Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC) announced today that Amber Fedin, D.O., has received the distinct honor of Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (FACOFP). This designation signifies the recognition of Dr. Fedin’s experience, dedication and contributions to the advancement of family medicine. Recipients of this award must contribute outstandingly through teaching, authorship, research, and professional leadership.

Dr. Fedin serves as Family Medicine Residency Program Director. She leads the Family Medicine Program, provides supervision and clinical teaching at the Family Medicine Residency Clinic and assists in our continuing efforts to bring the best in healthcare close to home by training primary care physicians. Dr. Fedin graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (Eric, PA). She completed her Family Medicine residency at Heritage Valley Beaver (Beaver, PA) and her fellowship in Primary Care Faculty Development at Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI).
Dr. Fedin is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association. She is also a member of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the Association of Family Medicine Directors.
