May 19, 2015

Spencer Thomas, Chief Operating Officer for Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC), recently announced LeAnne Clem Roller as DRMC’s new marketing director. In her new position, Roller will manage the hospital’s marketing, communications and community relations strategies.

A native to the region, Roller has been employed with DRMC since 2010, most recently serving as Transitional Care Liaison. In this position, Roller was responsible for planning, developing and managing marketing services and strategies for Danville Regional’s home health, hospice and inpatient rehabilitation services.

“LeAnne has provided strong leadership in managing marketing strategies for specific patient service areas within our hospital,” said Thomas. “Her experience, relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals, as well as her passion for providing exceptional service to all of our customers, makes her a great choice for this role. I am certain she will continue to provide strong leadership for our hospital.”

Roller earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Wellness/Health Promotion from Lynchburg College and a Master of Arts in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from Ashford University. She is also a graduate of the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Southside Program.

“Our hospital makes a critically important promise to members of our community every second of every day,” said Roller. “One of my top priorities in this new role will be working to continue merging that promise into the care experience of all of our patients and families – however I can.”

In her free time, LeAnne and her family (husband Ryan and son Camden), enjoy spending time with family and traveling.
