The employees of Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC) have collected more than 1300 lbs of perishable goods to assist with hunger needs in the Danville area community - just in time for Thanksgiving. The food will be donated to God’s Storehouse on Monday, November 24, 2008, at 1 pm.

Critical Need for All Blood Types

Blood supplies at the Danville Regional Blood Donor Center have reached critically low levels. During the first three weeks of June (June 1 thru June 21), Danville Regional Medical Center transfused 361 units of blood in meeting the needs of the community. Currently, the Blood Donor Center is in need of all blood types, especially type O positive.
