Elementary School Students - Coloring Contest
Color in this picture to the best of your ability. The student with the best coloring will win a $150 Savings Bond. Colorings must be received by February 17, 2012. Mail to: “I C.A.R.E About My Heart, c/o Leslie Smith, 142 South Main Street, Danville, VA 24541. No phone calls please. Colorings will be judged by a team from DRMC and Showcase Magazine, whose decisions are final. Winning Colorings will be printed in Showcase Magazine. DRMC and Showcase Magazine judges and their immediately family members are ineligible to enter.

Middle School Students - Radio Commercial Contest
Write a 100-word (60 seconds spoken) radio commercial entitled “I C.A.R.E About My Heart” focusing on why C.A.R.E.-ing for your heart is important. The Middle School Student with the best written script will win a $350 Savings Bond and have their commercial professionally recorded and broadcast on WBTM and WAKG radio stations. Scripts must be submitted by February 17, 2012 on line at: (Showcase Contest Page). No phone calls please. Radio scripts will be judged by a team from DRMC, Showcase Magazine and Piedmont Broadcast Corporation, whose decisions are final. High School Students - Essay Contest
Write an essay entitled “I C.A.R.E About My Heart” focusing on simple things everyone can do to C.A.R.E. for and have a healthy heart; and why good heart health is important. The High School Student with the best 300-word or less essay will win a $500 Savings Bond. Essays must be submitted by February 17, 2012 on line at: ShowcaseMagazine.com. No phone calls please.
